Counter Notification
Last updated: September 16, 2026
If we removed material you uploaded and you believe that was a mistake, or that the wrong material was identified, you can send us a counter notification. This page explains what federal law requires it to contain and gives you a form to use.
Before you do, please understand what a counter notification is. It is a sworn statement, and it is not anonymous. We send it to the person who complained, including your name, address, and telephone number, because 17 U.S.C. section 512(g)(2)(B) requires us to. A counter notification also does not remove a strike from your account. If you are not sure you had the right to use the material, talk to whoever gave it to you first.
Where to send it
Send this to our designated agent:
Copyright Manager
FiTerra Holdings LLC
30 N Gould St, Suite N
Sheridan, WY 82801

What happens next
Federal law, 17 U.S.C. section 512(g)(3), requires four things. Use the form below and fill in every part. If anything is missing we cannot act on it.
Once we have a complete counter notification, we send a copy to the person who complained, including your name, address, and telephone number, and we tell them we will restore the material. We restore it between 10 and 14 business days after we receive yours, unless they tell us first that they have filed a lawsuit to stop you from posting it. If they do, the material stays down and the two of you resolve it. We are not a party to that.
